It is with much pride and excitement to announce that SFC has begun the process of becoming an official affiliate to the world renowned futbol organization, FC Barcelona, through a Membership agreement with FCBarcelona Penya L.A.

 

As a Member of FCBarcelona Penya L.A., we will be changing our Organizations name from Suffolk Futbol Club to FCBarcelona Penya L.A. - New York.  All teams will compete in leagues and tournaments under the banner of

FCBarcelona NY.

Mission Statement

PSA's mission is to provide young boys and girls with an opportunity to play the sport of soccer at the highest level, and through this experience develop as individuals, focusing on growth in personal character, attitude, teamwork, skill and discipline.

Objectives

 
PSA is committed to becoming the center for soccer excellence and is dedicated to teaching the game of soccer to youth in a positive environment.

 
PSA offers a comprehensive and progressive training program for the serious soccer athlete.  Our emphasis is on long term player growth.  The players are given a foundation for the game upon which they can improve and develop, and are instructed in a team system and environment where the indidvidual can shine and flourish.

 

Goals of PSA

*To provide young boys and girls with highly qualified and experienced, coaching and training.

*To provide a positive environmnet in which to facilitate player development to its fullest.

*To expose all players to the highest levels of coaching and competition.

*To help all players reach their highest potential, i.e. collegiate, National or professional team.

*To promote and facilitate community involvement.
